Asclera® Vein Treatment
Don’t let troublesome visible veins keep you from confidently showing off beautifully youthful legs. Asclera is a non-surgical treatment for minimizing the appearance of spider veins through vein injection therapy (or sclerotherapy).
What is Asclera sclerotherapy?
Asclera is an injectable product used to treat spider veins. This treatment is known as sclerotherapy. This form of vein injection therapy works to reduce the appearance of visible spider veins and uncomplicated reticular veins. These types of veins are very fine and often have a dark blue or red shade and form in various areas of the body, especially in the legs.
When injected, Asclera causes the targeted veins to swell and safely stop the flow of blood. Once the blood flow is stopped, the treated vessels clot and are naturally absorbed into the body.
Am I a good candidate for Asclera?
Dr. Karlinsky-Bellini recommends Asclera for women and men who are bothered by the appearance of visible spider or reticular veins. Asclera is a safe and minimally invasive treatment that can help to eliminate the appearance of these thin, dark red or blue veins and restore a more youthful appearance to the skin.
What to expect after your Asclera vein treatment
Asclera treatments take just 15-30 minutes and are performed on-site at our cosmetic surgery facility in Bay Harbor Islands. Depending on your unique case, Dr. Karlinsky-Bellini may recommend a series of treatments to fully treat your visible veins.
This vein injection therapy requires little to no recovery time so you can get right back to your normal routine with clearer, younger-looking skin.
